WILLIAM DE LIEFDE-FOOTE

William de Liefde-Foote, BA (Hons), is a highly skilled and versatile designer with a strong technical and creative background. He graduated in Interior Architecture and Design from the Arts University Bournemouth, where his passion for design began. Will’s career spans a wide range of design fields, including architecture, interior design, and furniture design.

After university, he gained valuable experience through a work placement at Foster + Partners, a leading architecture practice in London. This was followed by a position at Michael Grubb Studio, an award-winning lighting design firm. His professional journey has since taken him through various roles in architecture, interior architecture, and furniture design, providing him with well-rounded expertise in the field.

In addition to his design work, Will renovates properties and currently leads a design team that collaborates closely with furniture manufacturers. His involvement spans from the initial design process to programming the machines for production, ensuring that every design is carefully executed and brought to life.

Will has also been teaching alongside Katie Thomas since 2015 and contributing to the growth of KTM Design. His teaching focuses on software for interior design, particularly AutoCAD and SketchUp. Known for his patient and methodical approach, Will adapts his teaching style to suit the needs of each student, ensuring they develop a solid understanding of the tools and techniques essential to their work.

With his diverse experience and hands-on approach to both design and teaching, Will brings a practical, grounded perspective to everything he does.
